RelationshipSix years, ongoing

Garuda Aerospace came to us six years ago having just raised its first million dollars. Rithika and Agnishwar had something rarer than capital: a fully formed picture of what India's drone industry could become, and the appetite to build it.

What they did not have was a brand that could carry any of it. The identity belonged to a small engineering company. The ambition belonged to a national industry. Before anything else, that gap had to close, and it had to close in a way that would still work at ten times the size.

From start-up refresh to national symbol.

Three reinventions, no rebuildA national initiative, a consumer brand and four sector verticals all entered the same system without starting the brand again.
Sales teams that arrive equippedPlaybooks, narratives and collateral per vertical mean a meeting in defence and a meeting in agriculture both begin with the right language.
Custody, not projectsSix years of the same partners holding the decisions, so the brand has never had to be explained to someone new. Today it is recognised by investors, policymakers and consumers alike.

Frequently asked

Garuda Aerospace, in short.

What did BigBrandTheory do for Garuda Aerospace?

BBT rebranded Garuda Aerospace and has acted as brand custodian for six years and counting. The work covers the rebrand and identity system, the Kisan Drone Yatra initiative identity, the creation of the Droni consumer brand, and a sector architecture spanning four verticals.

What is the Garuda Aerospace brand idea?

The Dimensions of a Drone. The identity is drawn from the geometry of flight and built as a system rather than a logo, so it can hold a company that sells into agriculture, defence, enterprise and pilot training at the same time.

What is Kisan Drone Yatra?

A national agricultural initiative that took drone technology across a hundred cities and reached thousands of farmers. BBT gave the initiative its own identity within the Garuda brand system.

What is Droni?

Droni is a consumer brand created inside Garuda Aerospace, a deep tech parent. It was built as a sub brand so a consumer proposition could exist without diluting the parent's engineering and defence credibility.

What are Garuda Aerospace's four verticals?

Agriculture, defence, enterprise and RPTO, which is remote pilot training. Each sells into a very different room, so the brand architecture was designed to let each vertical make its own case while compounding the parent brand.
